There is good news for all who desire a Catholic education. Thanks to the generosity of the supporters of the St. Catherine-St. Mary’s School System who donated to Msgr. Lafferty Tuition Foundation
, there is a new influx of monies to aid students and families for the 2008-09 school year.By completing a simple three page confidential financial form you may be deemed eligible for grants and scholarships. Financial awards will be based on the scored confidential application. These forms are completed in the privacy of your own home and mailed directly to the FAIR (Financial Aid Independent Review) office. The suggested mailing date is March 25. Applications must be received by April 1th. The St. Catherine-St. Mary’s School Board has unanimously endorsed the FAIR application and is asking all families to apply.
If eligible recipients do not apply, the remaining RSM tuition assistance funds will be forfeited to another Catholic school. Families are eligible up to 3X the poverty level. For example a family of six whose 2007 annual income is at or below $82,830 can receive a maximum of 25% off of each child’s tuition. Families whose annual income is at or below 200% of the poverty level can receive a maximum of 50% off of each child’s tuition. Finally, families whose annual income is at or below the poverty level can receive a maximum of 75% off of each child’s tuition. Consult the chart for a wider range of examples.

If you mail a voucher with your application to FAIR you will not need to pay the $17.00 fee.
On-line application will need to pay the $17.00 fee. A voucher will not work for on-line applications.
A RSM donor has volunteered to pay for all RSM application fees.
