Registration will be held on Tuesday and Thursday, August 3rd & 5th from 4:00 p.m.
to 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s High School, 523 Madison Street in Remsen, in the Media Center. All parents with students in TK- 12th grades need to register before school begins, even if you returned pre-registration forms. If you did not return the pre-registration forms, please bring them with you at registration time.
Virtus Training: All parents, grandparents, friends, and alumni who wish to volunteer at St. Catherine- St. Mary's School (both in and out of the classroom) are required to participate in the Virtus Program, as mandated by the Diocese of Sioux City. (www.virtus.org)
Individuals interested in volunteering for the 2010-2011 school year are encouraged to attend Virtus Training. There will be a Virtus Training Session on Thursday, August 5th at 6:30 p.m. in Room 218 at St. Mary's High School. If you have already attended a training session, you do not need to attend again.
The 2010-2011 School Year will begin on Monday, August 23rd.
An early dismissal is scheduled at 1:30 p.m. on August 23rd, 24th, and 25th .
Opening School Mass will be held on Thursday, September 2, at 6:00 p.m. at
St. Mary’s Church. Introduction of all new students.
World’s Finest Chocolate Candy Sales & Giftwrap Sales starts on Thursday, September 2nd and goes until Friday, September 17th.
Grade School Weekly Liturgies will be held on Wednesday mornings at 8:20 a.m. for the 2010-2011 school year.
No School on Labor Day, Monday, September 6th.
All School Picture Day will be on Thursday, September 16th.
Homecoming Week will be September 26th – October 1st.
