New news
From Mr. Hughes: Reminder: We will have election of class officers on tomorrow, May 27. You will be meeting with your advisors for this, so please be watching for when that time is determined. In the meantime, be thinking of those classmates of yours that would be responsible officers for nominations. Oh, by the way, there will be a “free” casual day tomorrow.
From Mrs. Arens: Prayer service on the last day of school @ 8:15. After the service, breakfast will be served. Following breakfast, students will meet with their moderators for election of class officers.
From Coach Kleins’: Congratulations to the JV and Varsity baseball for their victory against Unity last night. Great job done!
From the office: Students: Thank you very much to those of you who have returned their 2010-2011 enrollment forms. We still need many more, so please have your parents fill them out—you will need these turned into the office in order for you to sign out for the year. Please make sure all of the fields are filled in. Some of the forms returned do not have all the information required and some are inaccurate. If you have lost your form, please come to the office and get a new one.
From Relay for Life Team:
- Many of our St. Mary’s school and parish families have been touched by cancer. This year the Plymouth County Relay for Life will be held at the Remsen City Athletic Track on July 9-10. In honor of our RSM cancer survivors and in memory of those who have passed, St. Mar’s schools is forming a team. You are also encouraged to joining the team. We need faculty and students who will take a packet for pledges and to help us have team members walking the track. From 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 9 to 6:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, July 10.
From Scott Ruden: There will be a B.E.S.T camp on June 8, 15, 22, 29, and July 6, 13. Cost is $90.00. If you are interested, forms are in the hallway folder.
Big reminder: Students—please attend to the following, very important forms!
From the office: Freshmen: Please get your dental screening forms filled out and returned to the office for our school nurse. (you were given these forms last week at advisement—they were initially given to you before you entered high school, but the filled-out forms have been misplaced.) If you have been to the dentist, you just need to have him/her fill out and update the forms. It is a requirement by law that we have these on file. Thank you for your cooperation. You will need these forms filled out in order to sign out for the school year!
From Mrs. Arens: Habitat For Humanity permission forms are due.—these were passed out to you on Friday, May 14.
